A Night of Piano: Silas Berlin and Jonathan Halperin

About the event
Silas Berlin will play:
Rachmaninoff, Prelude no. 6 op. 23 in E-flat major
Beethoven, Sonata no. 11 op. 22 in B-flat major
Chopin, Waltz op. 4
Jonathan Halperin will play:
Bach, Prelude and Fugue in C Minor, Well Tempered Clavier Book 2
Scriabin, Preludes, Op 11
Mozart, Fantasie in D minor
Silas Berlin is a 2021 graduate of Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Silas enjoys performing for communities in the Seattle area as well as for private events and parties. He was awarded the silver medal in the 2020 Seattle Bach Festival and gold medal in the Russian Music Competition. He has his own private teaching practice and teaches an adult extension course at Cornish College of the Arts.
Jonathan Halperin is an accomplished pianist, currently studying music at Westfield State University in Westfield MA. He has an eclectic repertoire, from JS Bach to Billy Joel. He especially enjoys doing improvisational playing and singing live on Facebook.
