Women of Notes: A Tribute to Female Composers, featuring violinist Colleen Jennings and pianist Sophie Lippert

This duo recital will showcase a powerful collection of works spanning from the romantic era to present day, including music by Amanda Maier, Jessie Montgomery, Florence Price, and Karen Tanaka. Jennings (Apple Hill String Quartet, Greenwood Music Festival, University of Massachusetts) and Lippert (soloist with Seattle Symphony, Seattle Philharmonic, Olympia Symphony, founder of Connections Concert Series) are both seasoned players and collaborators, with a shared passion for performing music by underrepresented composers.
